We The Future Vote

In collaboration with Good Trouble Collaborative, The Civics Center, and the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition, we built a nationwide, nonpartisan initiative rooted in storytelling, youth leadership, and strategic visibility. Our goal was to empower young people to take ownership of their civic power and to create a campaign that would meet them where they are: on campuses, online, and in culture.
We launched a national call to action, inviting students across the country to lead voter registration efforts on their campuses. They responded with urgency and creativity—hosting registration drives, organizing events, and turning their peers into first-time voters. Their work sparked a ripple effect of civic engagement, amplified by our multi-channel strategy that blended grassroots organizing with high-impact media.
Through digital content, outdoor advertising, a national concert contest for Vote Early Day, and a strategic wild posting campaign in key swing states, WE THE FUTURE reached over 5 million people. In 2024, 41 million Gen Z voters were eligible to vote , but only 49% were registered. Yet once registered, 75–85% of them turn out to vote. That insight drove our approach: meet students where they are, remove barriers to registration, and make voting feel both accessible and culturally relevant.
By centering youth voices and blending civic engagement with creative expression, WE THE FUTURE became more than a campaign—it became a movement powered by the next generation of changemakers.
