FREE, FAIR & UNAFRAID

If the vote weren’t so powerful, they wouldn’t be working so hard to take it away. In a world aimed at silencing us, our voices are the defiance. Everyday we are met with reminders that democracy isn’t something that happens oncea t the ballot box. We build it together everywhere we find each other.

One joyful place where community is forged is the music venue, where voices touch our hearts in unison with others. For the first time, we are entering music venues to spread our messages. Because the live show is where strangers become a community and where we on the Amplifier team has some of our greatest communal memories; that feeling of belonging to something bigger than yourself? That’s what democracy feels like too.

This fall, the Hopeful Defiance Tour lights up 80+ independent music venues and cultural spaces across the country with bold, artist-made messages. The rooms where you find your people become the rooms where we claim our power.

You can’t intimidate a voter who knows their rights. So know them, share them, and bring a friend.

→ Make your plan to vote
→ Run a music venue? Register and we will send free art for your walls.
→ Download the art. It’s free, forever. Put it up wherever your people gather: the coffee shop, the community center, the classroom, your front window.
→ Donate and help us commission more artwork and reach wider audiences

Launching during the 2026 midterm elections, we plan to keep the music going through 2027 with new art, gatherings, and a growing network of venues that know belonging is worth fighting for and we are stronger together. This is hopeful defiance. It’s the courage to imagine something better, the joy of finding your people, and the conviction that our future is worth showing up for.

More joy. More connection. More justice. More democracy.

MORE.
