In response to COVID-19, Amplifier launched an emergency campaign with top art curators and public-health advisors from around the world looking for public health and safety messages that can help flatten the curve through education and symbols that help promote mental health, well-being, and social change work during these stressful times.
It is my hope that coming out of this crisis, and ideally much before, the completely justified demands of essential workers to have access to PPE, paid sick leave, and hazard pay will be met. While of course it is incredibly meaningful to laud these workers as heroes, it is equally as important if not more so to support and fight for them getting better working conditions.
