Yocelyn Riojas is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist from Eagle Pass, TX passionate about empowering her community by creating a voice for people of color. Her art depicts themes of Latinx culture, women empowerment, and issues surrounding immigration, with the goal of creating spaces for stories to be shared. Yocelyn currently lives between Eagle Pass, TX and Truth or Consequences, NM. She received her Master of Fine Arts at Texas State in Communication Design in 2021 focusing on social impact. Recently, she has been gaining momentum amplifying political messages in support of people of color through art.
