In response to COVID-19, Amplifier launched an emergency campaign with top art curators and public-health advisors from around the world looking for public health and safety messages that can help flatten the curve through education and symbols that help promote mental health, well-being, and social change work during these stressful times.

What has struck me the most about this global pandemic is the solidarity. We, as a globe, are truly in this together, but from afar. We have to go into social isolation, but we are all actively resisting this virus as a human family. There has never been a global moment where the entire human species has come together in solidarity to resist a common cause. (I always imagined it would be aliens or zombies, but this is something different altogether.) I wanted to create something that represents this moment. The symbol on the top is NASA’s symbol for Earth.
