This image was first designed for a Justseeds exhibition at the SGCI in Milwaukee in 2013 where artists in the co-op created art about the labor movement. The image depicts Kim Cosier – an art education professor at UWM, a champion for LGBTQ rights, and an artist who is part of the Art Build Workers – a group that organizes art builds for Public Education unions, specifically the NEA. The sign asserts that to know how to organize well today we need to know our past.
