Originally designed for the We The Future series, this artwork was reworked in response to the Kavanaugh hearings in 2018 to stand in solidarity with survivors, their allies and all of those who are taking a stand to make their voices heard to speak out against sexual abuse and violence. Featuring civil rights activist and sexual assault survivor, Amanda Nguyen who penned her own civil rights into existence and unanimously passing the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Bill of Rights, after having to navigate the broken criminal justice system after her own rape. 18 other bills protecting sexual violence survivors have been created modeled off of her federal.
