“In this intentionally brutal system the only source of support we have is each other. It is we who show up to distribute food, watch each others’ children, rebuild homes, and remake our communities into centers of care and compassion.  As we face climate disaster, a global pandemic, and historic uprisings against years of violence and oppression, it is our networks of mutual aid that will bring us through. We are building a new world while the old one falls.”
